Our Uji Matcha Tour is a must for matcha lovers everywhere!

This tour explores Uji, a small city located 30 minutes away from central Kyoto that is famous for its green tea and World Heritage sites.

Enjoy a stroll around this small, charming town and learn about its history while trying various matcha flavored snacks and drinks, such as matcha ice cream, matcha beer and matcha gyoza. We’ll learn about the history of matcha and make your own green tea in the matcha capital of Japan.

This 3.5- hour tour of Uji includes a sit-down lunch and stops at various vendors. We’ll also visit Byodin, a World Heritage site that is features on the back of the 10-yen coin.
