In our Kyoto Sake Brewery Tour, you and your guide will explore Fushimi, a quaint district just 20 minutes by train from central Kyoto famous for its sake. Here, you’ll discover that the secret to Fushimi’s delicious sake is its soft and mellow underground water. In fact, Fushimi directly translates to “underground water” in english.

Today, Fushimi is the second largest sake producer in the world, with nearly 40 sake breweries. Your guide will teach you all you need to know about sake as you take in the gorgeous scenery of the area as we walk by traditional-style homes, temples, and beautiful rivers.
