This tour starts with a morning stroll through Nishiki Market prior to the market’s busiest hours.

At Nishiki market, you will get to enjoy food from a variety of Japanese vendors while learning about Kyoto’s local produce. After the market, you’ll explore the backstreets of Kyoto where you will get to try traditional sweets, Japanese fried chicken, ramen, wagyu beef, and more! We will conclude our tour with a sweet treat at an ice cream shop that offers seasonal Japanese flavors.

To ensure you get a culturally and deliciously authentic experience, this tour will bring you to the past and the future, with stops at vendors that are over 100 years old as well as newer spots that represent the future of Japanese cuisine.
