One of the only remaining shitamachi old town neighbourhoods that survived the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923, Yanaka is one of Tokyo’s many culturally rich areas that transports you back in time. Our guides will bring you through a shopping street where locals go to grocery shop from a range specialty stores that specialize in different types of produce and food in order to buy the freshest ingredients available. 

Your adventure through old Japan continues as our guides bring you to one of Tokyo’s most famous ramen spots, where you’ll finish your lunch with delightful mochi sweets for your dessert. To conclude the tour, we’ll bring you through an area filled with beautiful Japanese temples before we reach our final destination: an old house that’s almost 100 years old that has been transformed into a cafe.
